This sleeping bag kept me warm in more than one cold old uninsulated house in this damp climate. It would not last one night in the actual wet outdoors. Comfort comes in so many forms and on so many relative levels. But the idea of a blanket is almost universally comforting unless you’ve been smothered. I think about opposites all the time (army green vs. pink baby flannel.) Although I can’t recall whether this item came to me thru free pile, estate sale or thrift store. It is secondhand. Or who knows how many hands. And who takes pride in poverty’s mystery of origin?
