This blanket tells the life of Mr. Haub since he came to the United States in 1952 as an intern. He lived in Chicago where it was cold. He didn’t have much money at the time, but bought this to keep him warm on cold nights. Since then, he has carried the blanket with him in his car, all through America. When his now-wife, Helga, met him, the blanket was in the car and he told her to be careful with it as it was special. The blanket never saw an accident and has brought the family warmth, security, and love.
