Homemade, Mothers, Native american ties

In the 1950s, as a young boy, I was fascinated by the ‘west’ and the life and events of those who lived it. I remember being intrigued by the variety of Native American cultures and how each coexisted with the earth so respectfully. My mother found this fabric and made this blanket as a quilt or top cover for my bed. It kept me warm for many years! smile A peaceful depiction of those years.
