My husband and I just moved to this area and his parents, Horace and Louise sent us this present of warmth for Christmas. It was made at the Cascade Woolen Mill in Oakland, Maine. This 100% wool blanket kept us warm on our bed for many years. The woolen mill made wool fabric that supplied the fashion industry in New York City. It finally closed in the mid ’80s recession. We used this blanket currently to cushion and transport artwork. It also looks like our dog maybe adopted this blanket too.
