Every night my parents would tuck me into bed when I was growing up in Northern Ireland in the 1970s.
They would tuck the sides of the blanket in so tight that I could not move. Not only was a stuck in the supine position, trapped by my blanket, it was so tight I could not even have my feet straight up, they had to be rolled to the side to fit!
